Chair-Shiatsu Certificate Program
A Life Enhancement is now pleased to offer a three-day Shiatsu certification course.
Students learn Shiatsu Theory, Self-Shiatsu Treatments and Chair-Shiatsu Treatments.
With successful completion of the program, students will receive a Chair-Shiatsu Certificate and be eligible to apply to the Canadian Shiatsu society for Supporting Member status.

The A Life Enhancement Chair-Shiatsu Certificate Program is a 25 hour course held over three days (not always consecutive) where students learn Shiatsu Theory, Self-Shiatsu Treatments and Chair-Shiatsu Treatments.
Japanese Traditional Shiatsu
We teach only Japanese Traditional Shiatsu originated by Tokujiro Namikoshi Sensei. This is the only Shiatsu acknowledged by the Ministry of Health in Japan.

The urbanization of our complex society has resulted in increased stress being placed upon the individual. Concurrently, recent surveys show that the public wants to be involved with the preventive aspects of health care.
As Shiatsu Therapy is in its infancy in North America, there is a demand for Chair-Shiatsu Therapists. Possibilities exist in practically any urban setting in Canada for graduates to open Shiatsu clinics on their own, or in association with other Chair-Shiatsu Therapists. They could also join with other health care professionals in a clinical setting, work in hospitals and businesses or teach in schools.
Chair-Shiatsu has the added benefit that the use of a massage chair fits well in the corporate environment and at events.
